The Story of Sable Quilts

Our story - We are two sisters who like to be creative.  We sew, cross stitch, paint, do ceramics, cook, etc.  When our mother passed away, she left a huge stash of beautiful fabrics.  We gave most of them to her friend who started a guild in her name.  They met and made several quilts that they donated and then disbanded.  The fabrics returned to us.  At that point we decided to organize them. We had been quilting on a very small scale but the availability of all of these beautiful fabrics took over.   One thing led to another and we purchased a HandiQuilter sewing machine and Sable Quilts was born.
